Picking Up My Chromebook!

11:02 a.m. Bike surprisingly pumped. Off to pick up my laptop on my bike, cause April’s asleep and I’m not willing to wait all day for her to wake. 😳 I took the post office key and plan to put it back. Hope it’s okay.

11:50 a.m. Got my package! I’m so out of shape, bruh. Exhausted.

AND I almost didn’t get it. For SOME reason, two were sent to my address and double shipping ($14.95) would have been required. I would’ve had to have dipped into my savings minimum which could’ve led to a fine.

Thankfully the only issue was this: I could take one, but not both. Without having to deal with the extra shipping. Praise Jesus. I took the one. ❤️😂🤗 They’re simply gonna refuse that one and I assume it’s gonna go back to sender.

Both boxes were the same size but I sincerely hoped that they didn’t ship the cord in one and laptop in the other. And that I just made a gamble on which part I’d get. Thankfully, as I found out when I opened it in the post office, that wasn’t the case either.

It’s a hot day. I’m kinda nauseated. And I’m on a bench in town and should probably go find some shade.

I put the laptop and charger with the air bags in my backpack, since the box wouldn’t fit, and tossed the box in a dumpster behind the thrift shop.

11:57 a.m. Found a shaded bench. And from the first glance of the Chromebook, without turning it on, the condition is Like New and the screen looks sleek and clean. No missing keys!

I can’t exactly test it yet, because Chromebooks rely on WiFi, which I don’t have.

Still curious as to why ‘two’ were shipped to this same address. I very clearly only paid for one. Was it a mistake? (Which is odd) Were they meaning it as some sort of gift for helping them out? Or just to be really nice? I don’t know.

I can’t really afford the extra shipping cost to take it (I’m that broke) so I am sorry (I feel for him) that there’s little left to do but refuse it and the seller would have to take the extra cost. 😕

I mean if April was awake, I could go home and see what she thinks. If she wanted it and to pay the 15 bucks. But I doubt that.

I should let it go, bruh.

Needless worry has always been an issue/habit of mine, I guess.

12:06 p.m. Going home.

12:52 p.m. Home.

2:53 p.m. Chromebook is set up and running like a DREAM!!

The seller said it was a mistake, so thankfully, it is going back to sender I hope. Glad I I didn’t take it.

Bonus: I can now watch Netflix in the background simultaneously on my Chromebook as I work on my Desktop, a task my slow netbook did not find doable. 🤗😂 Praise and thank the Lord!

One of the reasons I move to the living room so much is to have Supernatural playing in the background (in a viewable space, not hiding in a tab on my computer) while I do Secondlife work! WOOT!!!

4:13 p.m. Got some chores done and now working on my SL project. Supernatural is running smoothly on my Chromebook and I can’t help today that today was a nice day.

By the way, my tire flattened and I had to walk it most of the way back in the sweaty heat. But even that was okay.

All Glory, Praise, Thanks and all things be to almighty God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen. God is able to do above all we ask or think!
