Sherlock Week and Other Musings.

11:45 a.m. In the span of a week, I managed to finish the entire Sherlock series on Netflix! :O It..was...AWESOME!

Moriarty is 'easily' my favorite character and to be honest, I was really inspired to see the series after the tribute concert video Billie Eilish did. The song itself was even inspired by Moriarty's line, "..and honey, you should see me in a crown."

Now to wait on series five, if it comes around.

I managed some editing of my novel. Spellchecking, and revising.

My diet has been really poor, and more recently, exercise habits again. I can't say I know where my motivation for it all went. But it's not good. :(

On an alternatively pleasant note, and today I found myself randomly glancing at my old journals, finding old stories that bring me some pleasant smiles.

I've made some recent attempts at starting a new novel, but they didn't fully come to pass. Most didn't make it past the first chapter before I wasn't feeling it.

The truck is fixed. :)

We are however, unfortunately, back to depending on April's motivation 'or lack thereof' to keep stocked on groceries, instead of doing so on a regular weekly schedule with Rick.

Now it's more like two weeks, or longer. She herself has said if she could, she'd never go, and spend it all on....something terribly sad and unfortunate, and un-admittedly problematic to her, which I will not controversially write here.

>.> I both pity her and am disappointed about this at the same time. But we live the life handed to us, right? I'm at least thankful she's continued to be so generous towards me...even when she didn't have to. So I am sorry for complaining and all and am thankful for what I do have.

I do need to get better at keeping up on my life. I do my laundry and make my bed, but other things are falling into some disrepair...like the kitchen. Health habits. Litter box. I hate dishes. But then, who really likes washing them? I haven't been creating on Secondlife much.

I got a dress I made I've been reluctant to put up for sale. Inworld sales aren't happening much anyway. Though, at least, I set this month's group gift out.

I've contemplated the thing I used to do in older journals, with making regular timestamps of my day and recording it on practically an hourly basis...instead of weeks or months. I'd be interested in challenging myself to do it, for sure. Life...as it happens instead of partially recollected. :) I like that. It's an accomplished feat in itself.

I'd just have to develop the habit. I used to track them on an iPod notepad and then transfer them straight to blurb. Although, now I'd be more inclined to move it to blogger, then my blurb book. We'll see. <3 I'm loving the idea of tracking my life again.

Dad recently turned 52 a couple days ago and I gave him my love and wishes. :) I do miss him, though. Somewhere in my heart, he's still like the 30-something tough guy I knew as a little girl. :P

I got to meet Rob's new grandson, yes, grandson recently. His long-time girlfriend's teenage son's baby.

I didn't hold him, but like all babies, he was just adorable. I took some pictures on my Instagram. :) It's still kinda sad that after meeting/chatting with them for what feels like the past couple years, my brain still refuses to remember her son's girlfriend's name! xD At this point, I refuse to admit it.

All glory, praise, thanks, and all things be to God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen! God is able to do above all we ask or think!

12:37 p.m. Stopped at the Dollar Store while April goes shopping for nail glue.

We spent the brief drive up here talking about how people are complaining about everything from metal straws (which have rubber stoppers by the way) to people sending off balloons for messages to heaven (and impacting the environment when they deflate and land in ponds.)

Though April and Rick insisted to me that the argument wasn’t about being against the religious practice, so much as environmental impact..which is what I initially assumed.

By the way, this is me trying to go back to time stamps. No telling if it sticks or not. This is certainly something to pass the time, especially while waiting on April in the truck.

At least, unlike with my very first 2g..I think...iPod..if this accidentally deletes, it goes in a trash folder instead of frustratingly obliterating from existence.

April’s back.

A teen commented on her piercings and says he wants them. She’s said she’s not used to hearing it, rather than hearing ‘how do I eat with that? Do they hurt?’ (Snakebite piercings.)

I also tried to directly quote this BUT my mic function is not enabled for some reason.

We’re off to Walmart. God bless. Jesus saves. P.S. I hope this means my iPod typing skills will improve.

1:15 p.m. In the drive thru, getting a burrito and half-cut tea. April is getting new lenses today. Whereas I discovered mine have two new (first time) scratches.

1:29 p.m. Finished and heading next door to Wal Mart. 🤗

2:04 p.m. Got a THREE DOLLAR holographic backpack. Was ten, marked down to five, then three. Slightly dented, but nothing terrible. So shiny! That should make me hard to miss riding a bike in the blazing Florida sun. :)

And April found the black hoodie of her dreams.

Rick...is kindly helping us afford both. Lol. P.S. She got her lens replacement order filled, and now we wait for the day they come in.

Already in the line to leave Wal Mart and looking forward to home.

P.S. Am now broke and craving chocolate ice cream. I really shouldn’t be eating that.
Still checking Wal Mart for bullet journals, just cause, and found none. :(

2:21 p.m. Leaving Wal Mart and heading home! P.S. I may have pushed for April to get a drink since hers ran out. >.> Hopefully, not too much. She got a coke. Thanks, Rick.

2:28 p.m. Note to self: Google translate: ‘Labame no seas cochino.’ Saw it written in dust on the car in front of us.

P.S. Enjoying my diluted half-cut tea from Taco Bell, and not in a sarcastic way. :)

P.S.S. I’ve missed writing entries this way. Life is so much more exciting to write in little details.

2:45 p.m. Home! Now just to move Carlo from in front of the truck so we can park, please. 😡

4:05 p.m. Played on the computer a bit, then walked a while outside. Finally bonded with that elusive stray orange cat that hangs out in our yard.

...if only JJ (a dog that hangs out with us) wasn’t so keen on barking at her.

Now just kicking back at watching Home Movie DVDs I made. :) The Instagram ones. Can’t wait for the family to see them one day.

P.S. A mosquito bit my ankle. It’s dead. But this is not fun.

4:46 p.m. Heading back to Wal Mart with Rob and April. 😂

5:09 p.m. Haven’t left yet. Waiting on April to fix her poor glasses. :( Watching more Insta-home movies in the meantime. :)

P.S. Timestamping today has been a really positive experience. I hope it lasts. I used to do it with ease in the early journals, after all, covering small details almost every day for years.

Also in regards to the Spanish text earlier. Possibly, Correctly, supposed to be called ‘HABLAME no seas concho’ means “Speak to me, do not be a pig.” Which is really weird phrase to have on the back of a car.

5:28 p.m. Leaving now. :P Heading to Wal Mart and then Dawns. Don’t expect to be home until tonight.

5:43 p.m. *wonders what April would think of the song ‘Bird Set Free’ by Sia.

5:54 p.m. Here and calming down after Robs road rage. 😬

6:06 p.m. I’m in a total frozen burrito mood. Like beans and cheese. And all they have is the breakfast kind. :/ If were going to Publix, maybe I can try then?

P.S. Ice cream, too. 🤔🤫😵

6:31 p.m. Well, speaking of Ice Cream... ❤️

Wasn’t exactly what I meant, but I’ll take it. Thanks and bless the Lord, oh my soul! It’s totally cute and the cone part is delightfully rubbery.

7:17 p.m. Taco Bell time! Note to self: IT'S COURTNEY! (Mother of Rob’s girlfriend’s grandson.)

7:25 p.m. Cheesy beans and rice burrito with nacho fries. Yum. And no, not healthy. Thank God anyway.

7:47 p.m. At Dawns house. Said hi to Courtney, Jonathan, and the baby. We got cold stuff in their deep freezer. Time to chill..us....metaphorically.

9:05 p.m. Leaving and hung out as usual. Heading to the dollar store cause I have a hankering for ice cream! If I can get it for four bucks, that is. :)

Then home. :D SL sales have been satisfactory. Praise and thank God/Jesus. Fun entry today. ❤️

10:57 p.m. Hey, we’re home! We got my ice cream, and even shared a chocolate and caramel candy bar (which tasted ‘amazing’ for something not name brand)

Groceries are put up, Rob fed cats, and now I’m just chilling out, watching my Instagram Home Movies DVD. So full, too! Praise/Thank God Jesus! :D

Excited not only for this entry to go on blogger, but get formatted into my blurb journal as well. God only knows if I can keep this up like I used to. It certainly was fun.

10:42 p.m. Entry formatted. Pictures selected. I do grumble though that Instagram has suddenly gotten rid of it's embed option. :(

All Glory, Praise, Thanks and all things be to almighty God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen. God is able to do above all we ask or think!
