From the last entry to the 14th, diet and exercise continued as normal. All the spreadsheet ideas I had fell through as I grew tired of them.
From the 15th to the 23rd, the girls were here. We mostly hung out at the house. Computer gaming, tv, crafts and sewing (including barbie clothes), playing in the pool. Youtube. Cat...and goat petting/feeding. Occasional sibling whining/bickering, and lots of daily cleaning. That's about how to sum it up.
Harmony only wet the bed twice, thankfully, out of the whole week...or was it three times. Anyway, it meant there was quite a bit of blanket washing going on.
The park was closed, as Harmony and I learned. Aaliyah didn't feel up for walking. It was left to me to push a 60 pound child in a stroller for a couple miles in 90 degree Florida heat. Again, only to learn that they closed off the playground.
By the time I pushed her further to the second one, even she was too exhausted to play. And when we tried to, in the tire swing, we found a giant spider. It was about to rain, so we mutually decided to go home.
P.S. I forsook diet and exercise during this week. And most of my usual tasks. I even drank soda. Egads.
I spent my grocery money on McDonalds for me, Mom, and the kids, though not regretfully.
Started that Disney's Magic Kingdom game and probably way too into it.
Aaliyah and Harmony finished the Disney Princess Adventure game and loved it. :D
Aaliyah also played a LOT of Sims 3, her favorite game. We even wound up looking on Youtube for Sims codes/hacks and she's become quite the expert.
With all this, I did find myself thankful for the days they chose to sleep in, but also missing their often lively company.
Anywho. I spent 13 bucks on a rare comic con code for neopets. Got an avatar.
Bought Aaliyah some Neocash. She loved it. :)
Still saving for Neopets premium (for the sale) and even learned there may be some new perks with it. :O
I FINALLY, today, packaged that SL dress I made in the last entry. It'll make a nice group gift in December.
I'm slowly hoping to re-acclimate myself back into a normal and healthy routine after that week off. Scanning over last week's blog may be a nice reminder of why I'm doing all this in the first place.
God Bless, Jesus loves, lives, saves. All glory, praise, thanks, and all things be to God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen! God is able to do above all we ask or think.
P.S. Aaliyah got her new charging cord. Thanks and Praise God it worked, and now she and her laptop/cord are safely and happily at home.
P.S.S. Poor Harmony cried when Mom arrived to pick her up. She begged to stay, but alas, we all have to leave sometime. Aaliyah wasn't so keen on leaving either. But I am glad they both enjoyed their time over here. I do love having them in my life. <3
All Glory, Praise, Thanks and all things be to almighty God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen. God is able to do above all we ask or think!
