9:20 a.m. The title says what it is. Yesterday...well, today, technically, I stayed up until 7 a.m. Mostly cutting up a white scarf I rarely wound up wearing and seeing how far I could get it tied on a strip of rug underlay. The answer? Not far. but I've quickly found that it makes a great thing to keep on my desk, and squeeze when stressed.
I also watched Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men, and got it done in time for both films to finish. I'd really love to own more Matthau/Lemmon duo films, especially The Odd Couple (1968) but on Amazon? The DVD is crazy expensive. So that will have to wait for a long while, ha ha.
I slept until 2 p.m. Played on the computer. April got us McDonalds. I cleaned up my room a little.
AND my Secondlife cash came in, which I spent (after some searching) on Marble Contact Paper to pretty up my desk..and curtain rods..which is something I 'actually' need. I need white curtains, too, but that'll wait. It's no biggie, since it's pretty cheap.
I gold spray painted my bank...cause it just made things match a little more. And I love spray painting, much as it physically pains me when done too much. I hope to finish it off with the marble stuff once that comes in.
I even got my computer wallpaper set to match for when it is ready. I added the 'LV.' According to Wikipedia commons, letters fall into public domain, so... I like it.
I can't afford Louis Vuitton, don't think I ever want to, but for some reason it's got a place in my heart, ha ha. Still, very pretty.
Anyway, I haven't continued adding my draft to my book program, like I've been meaning to. Not significantly, anyway.
I have, however, updated Dix Huit.
Dix Sept is still somewhere in the wind. Has not arrived yet. Back in the day, these blurb books were created in three days and arrived in five. It's been eight days and still not here. :(
In any case, I will be gone in a few days to go babysit for the weekend...this time with help and for likely less money, both of which is fine, of course. :) God has a plan. Just hope it all goes well, you know. I'm hoping the marble will be here by the time I get back.
I've still been watching a crazy amount of Dollar Store DIYs, but I think that's finally starting to wind down now that I've got well over a dozen projects in mind to complete. Thank God. It may be cheap to DIY, for a short while, but doing it too much will really drill a hole in the bank for the long term. This too, shall pass, as all things do.
I finished the Buffy series tonight and started season five of Angel. :) I hope to finish the comics at some point but really haven't been up for it.
God Bless, Jesus Loves, Lives, Saves, homies!
P.S. The cats are no longer permitted to be in my room without my supervision, ever since last night when one of them POOPED on my new white fur rug. THANK GOD I was able to get it up before it sat too long and stained it, virtually unnoticeable it was there now, but still. I'm still enjoying it, by
the way, the rug. Nice and soft on my feet and has seen multiple random coating of sprayed fabric softener and baby powder with smell and softness.
All Glory, Praise, Thanks and all things be to almighty God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen. God is able to do above all we ask or think!
