2:39 p.m. I feel the need to get the weekend covered since I'm not doing much and add to it and then some.
Grandpa took me to a yard sale, first of all, where I got a bunch of clothes for three bucks, a nice blanket, a scented VS pillow, a fake Louis Vuitton purse, and some extension cords.
Following that was Mema's funeral, which was open casket. She didn't want an open viewing, but Papa did, so we gave him what he wished. She didn't look like herself, though I'm told they never do.
She was in a very nice semi-sparkly pink outfit and glasses, with lipstick (can't recall the shade) and gray hair swept back against the pillow. Her hands were cold, a stark contrast to the warmth I felt squeezing them a final time in the hospital days earlier. Up until this point I had held it together and didn't cry, but I did cry when I said I love you and felt her saying it back (like REALLY inside) struck me really hard.
There was a board up of family photos, including some photos of my childhood I never saw before as well as some selfies I took. I got to see my family, of course, and spend some time with the nieces. I was asked to take a rose, so I did. But I left it at Mom's as I didn't want it squished with all my stuff.
I was one of two people, aside from the pastor, who said some words about her. I thought everyone was going to but that was okay. It was a very brief service, but lovely.
Mom and I went to the Pawn shop and got my monitor, which was 129.oo (she originally said no) but they brought it down to 110 including tax, so that was great. We also got dinner afterward, and rented movies. We watched Central Intelligence and then went to bed.
She had to work the next day so I slept and then showered. We went to Bingo from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and then to Wal-Mart where we bought movies, an iTunes gift card for me, and some Midol. O.O
I also forgot my 'The Mummy' novel at her house, just before the end of the book. (Though I know how it ends.)
After coming home, I set my computer up and put things away. I got new music on my iTunes and after that, the rest is a blur.
The next day, Rob had to reset Windows 10 up and that took hours with customer service to accomplish, but it worked. I napped with a terrible headache after eating a lot of sugar the day before.
April and I had an adventure of sorts getting me to the bank to drop some money off where she had an anxiety attack on the freeway...so I will not need to be asking for her to give me a ride to the bank again. I also got my blurb book updated and now know I want to start saving so I can order when finished. I have nearly 30 dollars so that's a start, Praise God.
Today I've just been adding new Secondlife items and watching movies eating a little and drinking plenty of water. Gonna take some photos to add to the post. O.O And need to back up my Instagram photos. One of these days my computer needs to be properly organized. If I can just muster the ability to do it.
All Glory, Praise, Thanks and all things be to almighty God on the highest forever and ever in Jesus name, amen. God is able to do above all we ask or think!
