Rob built my new computer and I am THRILLED with it. He gave me a lot of bang for my buck for only 330 bucks, let me tell ya, when compared to the power of a commercial buy. He also got it done in a short period of time, a couple hours I think it seemed like. The graphics are much more acceptable, it can RUN Secondlife easily. The catch? There's still no monitor yet. I'm hoping to get one this weekend from Mom at the Pawn Shop, God Willing.
There is also my Mema's funeral, and I am supposed to write something on a paper to be shared, a fond memory.
To be honest, and this is gonna sound weird, almost all my memories just seem to go back to her rebuking me for things (and I mean that in a very welcome positive way, cause Lord knows I needed it when it happened) but not sure I should write that in. I was thinking of just saying that I loved that I was always 'Chelly' to her. Nothing deep or anything, but I always loved the way she called that name...even though I never said it. P.S. God reminded me she was also generous to me. ;)
I also need to pack for the weekend, which I neglected to do yet.
Oh!! And earlier I tried to nap and wound up randomly squishing the fatty part of my palm, for no reason, when I saw a spider CRAWLING BY MY HEAD! It's not something I'm proud of, Lord, but it's dead now. -_-
We got a stockpile of pasta and canned goods, and generic strawberry snack bars, which made it to the point that not much more can be fitted in there. O.O
Anyway, there's the news.
